This 90-minute Yin Yoga practice was designed to help practitioners align with the season of Summer! As the sun shines brighter, and the days continue to lengthen, nature showcases patterns of growth, vibrancy, and expansion– themes we may similarly be experiencing within our own lives and inner landscapes during this time of year.

This traditional Yin Yoga practice is informed by the Chinese Meridian & 5-Element Theories, focused on stimulating the body’s energy lines that correspond with the season of Summer– the Heart & Small Intestine meridians. Thus, this practice/sequence largely focuses on opening the areas of the chest, heart, and arms. I discuss themese of self expression, deepening relationship with others, generosity, and reciprocity.

My hope is that practitioners can call upon the themes explored & poses practiced during the workshop all season long - using these as tools to find balance on & off their mats throughout the new season.
